Corporate donations support our close to 22,000 students in a variety of ways, such
as program support, scholarships, matching your charitable gifts and unrestricted
grants to the college.
DVC's corporate donors include Wells Fargo, Tesoro, PG&E.
Thanks go to Wells Fargo and Mr. Eric Young for donating $15,000 to the DVC Foundation. Wells Fargo's unrestricted donation enables the Foundation to support important college priorities including program and curriculum enhancement, equipment purchases, and facility improvements.
Corporations also help by offering grants that match your charitable donations.
If your company is not on the list below, please ask your Human Resources department if the company will match your charitable contributions.
There are many ways to give to the DVC Foundation. You can choose to give online with a donation of any amount to the unrestricted fund, or to the program of your choice.
Please contact us with questions about matching gifts from your employer; planned giving (aka: Gift Planning) through your estate, life insurance, will, transfer of investments, or property; legacy giving so your generosity can live on for generations; donating a vehicle; and naming opportunities for classrooms, studios, athletic fields and buildings. We are happy to answer any questions and discuss DVC with you. email@example.com or 925-969-2025
"The financial assistance you provided will be a great help to me in paying my educational expenses and will allow me to concentrate more of my time studying. I promise you I will work hard and eventually give back to others..." Valerie, DVC Foundation Scholarship Recipient
Every year DVC students apply for, and receive, over $300,000 in scholarships and grants from individuals and organizations through the DVC Foundation. Students receive funds to cover their tuition, books, cost of living, and other wrap-around expenses.
The DVC Foundation would like to thank Ole and Eileen Mols for their generous donation of $50,000 to endow the Ole and Eileen Mols Scholarship. Professor Mols spent 20 years as a chemistry instructor at DVC. According to the Mols, "We are happy to provide the needed support for deserving students at DVC who want to continue their studies toward a degree in science or engineering."

Contributions to the President's Roundtable are unrestricted gifts that allow us to be flexible to meet changing needs of the DVC community. Unrestricted donations enable the DVC Foundation to provide support for important priorities identified by the DVC College President and that best align with the foundation’s mission. For example, donations can go toward covering the cost of student attendance at academic competitions, update a research facility, or provide wrap-around funds for a student in need.
Members of the President's Roundtable make a minimum gift of $1,200 per year, which is the average annual cost of DVC tuition. For a minimum of $100 per month, you can ensure success for a student.
We invite you to become a member of the President's Roundtable.
