What
will I learn through the horticulture certificate program?
This
broad program prepares students for employment in plant production, pest
management and retail nurseries. It will assist students preparing to take the
California Association of Nurseryperson’s exam and the arboriculture
certification exam.
To
earn a certificate of achievement, students must complete the required courses
with a grade point average of at least 2.0. Course requirements are available in
the evening and on weekends. Students may also earn an associate in arts degree.
See the A.A. degree requirements listed in the “Transfer and DVC degrees"
section of
this catalog.
