How do I enroll and decide which courses to take? The College provides various support services to guide you through the enrollment process. Follow these steps and directions to complete the college application and understand course registration. Counseling 105 Orientation to College is a 6-hour class for first-time college students, providing an overview of registration procedures, student services and the campus itself. Academic counseling and understanding transfer requirements are incorporated into this course. You must complete the English and math assessment exams at least one week prior to taking the Counseling 105 class. Assessment tests occur on a daily basis, obtain more information at Assessment Center. Except for the assessment exams, Counseling 105 can also be taken online. In addition to gaining valuable tools for college success, taking Counseling 105 during the summer registration qualifies the student for improved priority registration for fall registration. In addition, academic counseling is available by appointment or on a drop-in basis to assist students in course selection. Career development and Career Planning classes help students select career and educational paths.
