We offer jazz ensembles and jazz combos, beginning through advanced guitar lessons, basic and advanced music theory courses, beginning through advanced piano courses, a full range of vocal studies classes and ensembles, as well as classes in the histories of rock-and-roll, rhythm & blues, jazz, classical music and ethno-musicology.

Mark Steidel’s state-of-the-art Music Technology Center, the heart of the Music Industries Studies Program, is unmatched in the Bay Area. It utilizes the latest software and hardware to give you the best chance of getting your musical ideas from your head to your mp3 player. It also offers students a chance to broadcast worldwide on internet-radio KDVC, and, through its certificate program, transfer to prestigious colleges and universities for further study.
